I'm delighted to announce that Simple Mind has been selected for release on the Playdate Catalog! 

This is huge for me and what is really my first playdate project, so I wanted to do some big changes to ensure Simple Mind give the Catalog players a good time as well.

First, rest assured the Pulp version of the game will remain free on itch, without any change so you can still enjoy the 4 difficulty levels and ridiculous stats without breaking the bank. 

What I've done however, is rewriting the entire game to use the Playdate SDK so that I could implement new features that only the SDK could offer... namely, Puzzle Mode!

Puzzle mode is an exclusive new game mode, that generates random situations of a typical normal-difficulty game of Simple Mind. So, when you start a puzzle, a few attempts have already been played, and the game already answered the usual hints made of squares, crosses and dots. What is the twist then? Each situation is carefully crafted so that you can find the correct code in one single attempt. That's right, you will have to be extra mindful of the past attempts to make sure that your inputs count.
